The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.

In‑house Aquatic Training Academy offers continuous training through specialist CPDs in swimming teaching, providing a clear pathway for progression into management and other areas of the business. All swimming teachers receive a free membership for themselves and one for a friend or family member.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver swimming lessons for baby, pre‑school and beginner groups following the Swim England learn to swim framework.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment, ensuring all safeguarding procedures are adhered to.
  • Support learners’ progress and development, working within our leisure centre infrastructure.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer‑service skills when dealing with people of all ages and backgrounds.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Valid RLSS UK NPLQ, RLSS UK NRASTC or STA Safety Award for Teachers is advantageous but not essential; training can be provided free of charge.
  • STA Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or Swim England (formerly ASA) Level 2.
  • DBS check required.

Salary

£13.00 to £16.98 per hour, depending on experience.
