HGV Refuse and Recycling Driver/Loader in our Suffolk team, based at the Sudbury depot, providing a full waste and recycling service to residents and businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set off on a pre‑planned route as the driver with your team of Loaders, collecting waste and recycling from residential homes and commercial properties.
  • Serve as the public face of Serco’s Environmental Services team in the community.
  • Ensure vehicle safety checks are completed and that the truck is clean and work‑ready before setting out on your rounds.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Hold a valid Class C driving licence (C1 or Driver CPC accepted).
  • Be hard‑working, physically fit and healthy, with plenty of enthusiasm and a big smile.
  • Be willing to go the extra mile during your rounds to help the team hit their targets.
  • Be a team player.

Working Hours

Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 6.30am - 3pm with occasional Saturday work and bank holidays.

Contract Permanent.

Salary £34,608 per annum.
