As a HGV Refuse & Recycling Driver/Loader in our Suffolk team, you will provide a complete waste and recycling service on behalf of the residents and community in Sudbury. With a professional, dedicated, and friendly team of Refuse Collection staff, we ensure that streets, homes and businesses are kept clean, safe and tidy, whilst providing the very best levels of customer service to all members of the community that we serve.
Responsibilities:
- You will set off on a pre-planned route as the driver with your team of Loaders collecting waste and recycling from residential homes and commercial properties.
- You will be the public face of Serco's Environmental Services team in the community.
- Before setting out on your rounds, you will ensure that your vehicle safety checks are completed and that your truck is clean and work ready.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Hold a valid Class 1 or 2 driving licence & Driver CPC.
- Hard working.
- Physically fit and healthy due to the nature of the business.
- Hold plenty of enthusiasm and a big smile.
- Be willing to go the extra mile whilst on your rounds to enable your team to hit their targets.
