Hours: Night Shifts – 5pm to 1pm (37.5hrs per week)

About the Role

On a day-to-day basis you’ll visit individuals in their homes to install tagging equipment. You may work alone or alongside a Monitoring Support Officer. With every individual you meet you’ll build their confidence, reassure them of their safety, and help reduce the pressure on the prison system by enabling ex-prisoners to reintegrate into their communities.

Responsibilities

• Visually identify and install electronic monitoring tags at assigned locations. • Provide clear instructions and reassurance to individuals and families. • Maintain accurate records of equipment, visits and incidents. • Collaborate with colleagues and the wider justice system. • Participate in training and shadowing programmes to develop professional skills.

Qualifications

  • Current valid UK driver’s license.
  • Reasonably fit with good written and verbal communication skills.
  • BPSS & Standard DBS clearance (including spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands and warnings).
  • Occupational Health Questionnaire & assessment to ensure fit for duty.
  • Willingness to work flexible night shifts and rotate weekends, bank holidays and early starts/late finishes as required.
  • Commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others.
