As a Marine Electrician in our Maritime Services team, you'll play a vital role in maintaining and repairing electrical systems across our fleet of vessels, helping ensure safe and reliable operations that support critical defence activities. This is a shore-based opportunity where your expertise directly contributes to operational readiness and safety. What you'll do as a Marine Electrician:
- Carry out fault finding, defect rectification, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment across the vessel fleet.
- Undertake installation work for upgrades and replacement of machinery and electrical components.
- Test and calibrate sensors including pressure and temperature equipment.
- Interpret technical drawings and work instructions to deliver tasks efficiently and to quality standards.
- Ensure tools, spare parts, and equipment are available to support continuous operations.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
