Responsibilities
- Deliver reactive and proactive maintenance for temporary accommodation properties in Wigan, ensuring all repairs are completed to required standard within SLA deadlines.
- Manage health & safety for yourself and all property users during and after works.
- Purchase and manage materials using a company account card from approved Serco suppliers.
- Maintain vehicles in professional and clean condition, ensuring regular inspections are carried out.
- Plan and prioritise work independently, while collaborating effectively with team members when required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in joinery, fitting, plumbing, painting & decorating or a related field.
- Good organisational and time‑management skills.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willful willingness to travel within the region and occasionally within the UK.
Working Hours & Schedule
- Mon to Fri, 7.5 hours per day between 08:00 and 18:00.
- On‑Call & Out‑of‑Hours Working Rotation basis – once every 8–10 weeks, providing 24/7 emergency cover for the contract.
