As an Operations Assistant at the Lilleshall National Sports Centre, you’ll support the day‑to‑day operation of the centre, help create a safe and welcoming environment, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for all visitors.
Responsibilities
- Ensure customer safety at all times by preventing accidents and responding appropriately to incidents.
- Supervise dry‑side activities, maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness and customer care.
- Set up, move and handle equipment safely to support programmed activities across the centre.
- Carry out cleaning duties and maintain high standards of presentation in customer areas, including changing rooms, toilets and health‑suite facilities.
- Monitor customer behaviour and address unsafe practices promptly, professionally and courteously.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a strong knowledge of the centre’s facilities, services and activities.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a busy leisure, hospitality or customer‑facing environment.
- Confidence interacting with a wide range of customers, including both adults and children.
- Strong focus on safety, responsibility and attention to detail.
- Positive and flexible approach, able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to complete training and maintain any required qualifications.
