Qualifications
- Hold either a STA Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or Swim England (formerly ASA) Level 2.
- Holding either a valid RLSS UK NPLQ, RLSS UK NRASTC or STA Safety Award for Teachers is advantageous but not essential as training can be provided free of charge.
Responsibilities
- Teach swimming lessons delivering safe, fun and progressive lessons.
- Use the Swim England learn to swim framework to develop confidence in all swimmers.
- Schedule teaching hours flexibly to fit around your current commitments.
- Engage in ongoing training through the in‑house Aquatic Training Academy and specialist CPDs.
- Work within all leisure centres and pursue career development opportunities.
