Teaching our swimming lessons involves delivering safe, fun and progressive lessons for our baby and pre‑school customers. This mindset also extends to our teachers’ careers and personal development. We offer flexible contracts so you can teach as little or as many hours as you want around your current commitments. We cover safeguarding, DBS checks, and insurance for you.

What you’ll need to do the role:

  • You will have excellent customer‑service skills and be happy to deal with people of all ages and backgrounds.
  • You will need to hold either a STA Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or Swim England (previously ASA) Level 2.

Qualifications:

  • Holding a valid RLSS UK NPLQ, RLSS UK NRASTC or STA Safety Award for Teachers would be advantageous but is not essential, as we can provide the training free of charge.
  • If you do not yet hold the relevant qualifications to teach swimming, we offer training courses for you to start a career with us.

Why Join us:

  • A place you can make an impact: Swimming not only makes people healthier and happier but also teaches a life‑skill.
  • A place you can count on: Our swimming teachers are integral to the running of our centres, enabling progression into aquatics coordination and other centre‑management roles across our 55 facilities.
  • A place for you: Teaching offers a great sense of accomplishment as you see people progress and work with your local community.

What we offer:

  • Free membership at the Centre plus heavily discounted use of classes and facilities.
  • Free safeguarding training and DBS check.
  • Excellent development and training opportunities.
