Job Overview

Our aim is to be the destination of choice for being part of an active community, whilst helping you to make MORE of every day. We are looking for Gymnastics Coaches to join our centre.
The main purpose of this role is to assist with the development of the Gymnastics Programme at Alexander Stadium Leisure Centre through delivery of planned sessions that promote progression through the programme\’s pathway.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a professional and fun Gymnastics programme of sport‑specific activity and ensure coaching sessions are suitable for all people, including those less able or with specific needs.
- Make sure all guidelines are adhered to, and that safety and welfare of the gymnasts is always paramount.
- Act as an ambassador for the way sessions are delivered and conduct yourself accordingly.
- Liaise professionally with customers and our coaching team, demonstrating enthusiasm, resilience, patience and understanding of the needs of the gymnasts and the centre.
Qualifications
- Level 2 British Gymnastics Coach qualification.
- Experience in delivering structured coaching sessions.
- High standards of personal delivery and ability to hold participants accountable to those standards while supporting development and enjoyment.
- Enthusiastic, resilient, patient and understanding of gymnasts’ needs.
