Responsibilities
On a day‑to‑day basis you will visit individuals in their homes to install, maintain and monitor electronic tagging equipment. You may work alone or alongside a Monitoring Support Officer, building confidence and reassurance in both the individual and the justice system while helping reduce pressure on the prison system.
Qualifications
- BPSS and Standard DBS clearance, including identity verification, employment history checks and a DBS check covering spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands and warnings in line with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act.
- Valid UK driver’s licence.
- Physical fitness and adequate written and verbal communication skills to build rapport with individuals.
- Both temporary and permanent residence within the CW 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 8 postcode areas.

Working Hours
Your contractual working week is an average of 37.5 hours, with a rolling rota that includes weekends and bank holidays. Evening shifts run from 5:00 pm to 1:00 am; flexibility is essential as you may be required to start earlier or finish later. Shifts are provided approximately 10 weeks in advance to allow for meaningful time off.
