As a Traffic and Security Operative in our RAF Brize Norton team, you'll help protect and support the RAF's largest operational base by delivering essential access, security, and traffic services. Your work will ensure colleagues, visitors, and contractors experience a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment. Every day, you'll play a meaningful role in maintaining the integrity of this critical site. Whether you're greeting visitors, supporting security activity, or helping keep the base moving smoothly, your contribution will create a positive impact and support operations that help protect the nation.

What you’ll do as a Traffic and Security Operative:

  • Provide a professional and friendly welcome to all visitors and colleagues.
  • Control vehicle and pedestrian access, checking identification and passes with accuracy.
  • Assist with security searches and emergency response when required.
  • Maintain accurate logs, records, and incident reports.
  • Deliver vehicle escort duties and traffic management services across the base.
  • Airfield pass check.
