As a Security Officer in our RAF Brize Norton team, you will protect and support the RAF's largest operational base by delivering essential access, security, and traffic services. Your work ensures colleagues, visitors, and contractors experience a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment.

What you'll do as a Security Officer:

  • Provide a professional and friendly welcome to all visitors and colleagues.
  • Control vehicle and pedestrian access, checking identification and passes with accuracy.
  • Assist with security searches and emergency response when required.
  • Maintain accurate logs, records, and incident reports.
  • Deliver vehicle escort duties and traffic management services across the base.
  • Perform airfield pass checks.

  • Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence training and UK Security Vetting (UKSV) clearance, or the ability to obtain it without issues.
  • A full UK manual driving licence (maximum six points).
  • Ability to meet the colour perception requirement for an Airfield Driving Permit.
