We are looking for a highly analytical and commercially driven Senior Commercial Analyst to support the financial performance and strategic development of a complex facilities management contract.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and management of contract change models, owning the contract change database and associated reporting to provide clear visibility of contract evolution.
- Develop and maintain commercial pricing templates, including pricing aligned to MOD SFG20 standards, and build detailed costing models at asset level (L4), incorporating supply chain costs, direct delivery costs and overheads to ensure robust and accurate commercial forecasting.
- Work closely with Commercial and Operational teams across the business, providing support on supply chain pricing validation, cost-saving initiatives, pricing proposals and the evaluation of Billable Works tenders.
- Ensure commercial submissions are aligned to scope and deliverable in practice through strong collaboration with Operations.
- Produce consolidated reporting, identify cost-saving opportunities and support revenue growth initiatives using enterprise systems such as SAP and Maximo, alongside advanced Excel modelling and reporting tools such as Power BI.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of commercial processes, policies and training as part of the wider Commercial Working Group.
- Support the development of centralised reporting and document management platforms, including SharePoint.
About you
- Bring advanced financial modelling capability, with expert-level Microsoft Excel skills and experience in Hard FM pricing.
- Confident building complex cost models, analysing performance data and presenting clear, insight-led recommendations to senior stakeholders using tools such as Power BI and PowerPoint.
- Self-motivated and resilient individual, comfortable managing a demanding and fluctuating workload with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to assimilate complex information quickly and communicate key commercial messages in a clear and accessible way.
- Experience within facilities management, construction or public sector environments is desirable, particularly where contract change, supply chain pricing and asset-based costing models are involved.
- Familiarity with SAP, Maximo or similar asset management platforms will be advantageous, as will knowledge of ISO44001 and experience working with public sector or defence clients.
- Demonstrate integrity, attention to detail and a collaborative approach, contributing positively to team development while maintaining high professional and ethical standards.
This role requires occasional travel to VIVO sites and the ability to obtain SC level security clearance. A full UK driving licence is essential.
