Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Location: Lyneham to Gloucester, M5/M4 Corridor

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:00AM – 5:00PM)

Salary: £34,000 per year

VIVO is looking for an experienced Roofer to join its growing team supporting Service Family Accommodation across the Gloucester, Lyneham, M4 and M5 corridor areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a long‑term Defence housing contract delivering essential repairs and maintenance to homes occupied by military families. Please note, this role is not based in Warminster, and applicants should ideally live within 45 minutes of the coverage area.

Working across occupied domestic properties, you will carry out general roofing repairs and maintenance on Service Family Homes while providing a high standard of customer service to families on-site. This is a customer‑facing role where professionalism, communication and pride in your work are key. You will be responsible for delivering quality repairs safely and efficiently while managing customer expectations on the ground.

Safety is a top priority within the team, and you will never work at height alone. Roofing teams work collaboratively, typically with two roofers supported by two labourers and a roofer’s mate on‑site. Alongside roofing repairs, you may also support with general maintenance and refurbishment tasks as required.

The position offers a stable Monday to Friday working pattern of 8:00am to 5:00pm, based on a 40‑hour week. There is potential for overtime for those who want it, although this is completely optional, and there is no mandatory on‑call rota. The role also comes with a company work van and fuel card.

VIVO is open to candidates who are fully qualified or time‑served roofers with solid practical experience across a range of roofing systems. The ideal candidate will be reliable, punctual, able to work in all weather conditions and confident working independently while maintaining excellent health and safety standards. A full UK driving licence is essential, and successful applicants will be required to obtain BPSS Clearance.
