To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit for a Self Employed Group Exercise Instructor to join our Team. We are seeking a motivated and energetic Self-Employed Group Exercise Instructor to deliver engaging, safe, and effective fitness classes to a diverse range of clients. You will be responsible for planning and leading group sessions that motivate participants, promote health and wellbeing, and create a positive and inclusive environment. As a self-employed professional, you will manage your own schedule and business development. This role will provide Group Exercise Instructor classes across our three sites.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver high-quality group exercise classes (e.g., HIIT, strength training, yoga, Pilates, spin, dance fitness)
- Adapt sessions to suit varying fitness levels and individual needs
- Ensure all classes are conducted safely, following health and safety guidelines
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage retention
- Stay up to date with fitness trends, techniques, and industry standards
- Relevant fitness qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Gym Instructor or Group Exercise Certification or equivalent)
- Public liability insurance (required for self-employed status)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and engage groups of varying sizes and abilities
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Passion for health, fitness, and helping others achieve their goals
- Existing client base or following
- Additional specialist certifications (e.g., pre/postnatal fitness, nutrition coaching)
