Salary: £38,000 rising to £42,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus excellent benefits

Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours per week), Permanent

As an Industries Curriculum Manager in our HMP Fosse Way Education, Skills and Work team, you’ll lead the delivery of learner support services and curriculum operations within a purpose-built resettlement prison. You’ll help ensure learners receive the support, guidance, and opportunities they need to develop skills, gain qualifications, and prepare for successful reintegration into society. This is a role with real purpose. By helping to create impactful solutions that support education and employability, you’ll make a positive impact on communities and help individuals build a better future. What you’ll do as an Industries Curriculum Manager

  • Ensure the effective day-to-day operation of learner support services across multiple teaching and learning locations, working closely with curriculum leaders
  • Monitor and review education and industries performance data, implementing improvements where required
  • Support Ofsted and His Majesty's Inspectorate of Prisons (HMIP) inspections, ensuring evidence and processes meet expected standards
  • Lead and champion the learner journey from Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) through to successful completion
  • Manage employee attendance, annual leave, performance reviews, recruitment activities, and mandatory training compliance within your area
  • Drive quality standards, learner achievement, engagement, and continuous improvement across education provision

Does this sound like you? You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have…

  • GCSE Grade 4 (or equivalent) or above in Maths and English Language
  • A PGCE or Certificate in Education qualification
  • Experience managing support systems and procedures within an education environment, ideally in a complex or challenging setting
  • Experience leading and developing teams to achieve high standards of performance
  • Knowledge of current education policies and their application within custodial or further education environments
