This is a key role responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of compliance and improvement projects that ensure properties remain safe, compliant and fit for purpose while delivering an excellent customer experience.
You will take ownership of projects from initial planning through to successful completion and handover, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and in accordance with contractual requirements. Working closely with Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) representatives, operational teams, contractors and supply chain partners, you will coordinate all aspects of project delivery, maintaining clear governance, strong financial control and effective stakeholder engagement throughout.

You will build strong relationships with clients, residents, contractors and internal colleagues, providing regular updates, managing expectations and ensuring projects are delivered with minimal disruption.
Throughout delivery, you will focus on maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, ensuring residents remain informed and supported throughout the lifecycle of works. This role will require travel to sites across the South East and South West so candidates must be willing to travel.
About You: You will have proven experience delivering construction, compliance, infrastructure or facilities management projects within a complex operational environment, with responsibility for managing projects from inception through to completion. You will possess excellent knowledge of project management principles, construction practices and Health, Safety and Environmental requirements, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining focus on quality, compliance and customer outcomes. Experience working within defence infrastructure, social housing, facilities management or similarly regulated environments would be highly advantageous.
As a confident communicator and relationship builder, you will be comfortable engaging with clients, contractors, residents and senior stakeholders, influencing decisions and resolving issues effectively. You will be an organised and proactive leader who can motivate others, manage contractor performance and deliver successful outcomes in a fast‑paced environment. Strong analytical and reporting skills are important, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management systems such as Maximo.
Most importantly, you will be driven by delivering excellent service, continuous improvement and safe, high‑quality project outcomes that make a positive difference to customers and communities.
