Schedule: Full Time, 39 hours per week, Monday to Sunday flexible working hours

As an Operations Assistant in our Citizen Services – Sport England team, you’ll help ensure our facilities run safely, smoothly and with a warm, customer‑first experience. Your work supports the delivery of sport, leisure, hotel and event services that make a positive impact on local communities. You’ll play a key part in creating a safe, welcoming and well‑run environment — from operational readiness, to cleanliness, to enabling memorable experiences for everyone who uses our facilities.

What you’ll do as an Operations Assistant:

  • Clean scheduled areas of the site
  • Be a part of the housekeeping team, providing cleaning support within bedroom areas
  • Manage daily task list and cleaning schedule effectively
  • Maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness throughout your working shift
  • Follow instructions from line managers to support smooth operations
  • Help ensure all facilities are well maintained and fit for purpose
