Location: Hybrid with regular travel to sites within the West Midlands

Salary: £34,000–£36,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and company car

In this role, you’ll generate, build and grow strong partnerships with employers across Birmingham, Coventry and West Bromwich, turning business needs into real job opportunities for our participants. You’ll work closely with internal teams to ensure the right candidates are matched to the right roles, helping placements succeed and delivering high-quality employment and skills outcomes.

To be a great fit for this role, you’ll have proven experience in account management, recruitment or employer engagement, along with a good understanding of the employability sector. Does this sound like you? You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, recruitment or employer engagement, ideally in a high-volume environment
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent qualification or experience)
  • A sound understanding of the skills and employability sector, including current trends, challenges and opportunities
  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders
  • A data driven mindset with strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experience developing strategies and translating them into actionable plans
  • Strong organisation and time management, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Vetting and checks: This role requires BPSS clearance, which involves identity verification, employment history, and criminal record checks to meet government security standards. An Occupational Health Questionnaire will also be required to ensure we can offer appropriate support for your wellbeing and performance.
