We are looking for a dynamic Legal Director EMEA to join our growing Legal & Compliance EMEA team and play a key role in supporting our international business operations. Reporting to the VP Legal, Compliance & IP EMEA, DPO EMEA, you will be responsible for overseeing the company’s commercial legal activities, corporate operational matters and legal operations, while coordinating the work of specialized legal counsels. The role plays a key part in ensuring efficient legal support to the business and strengthening the company’s legal processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Commercial and Operational Legal Support
- Oversee legal support for the company’s commercial activities
- Supervise drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements, including:
- distribution agreements
- supply agreements
- logistics and transport agreements
- commercial and services agreements
- contracts relating to clinical trials
- Provide strategic legal advice to Business and Operations teams
- Supervise corporate matters relating to group affiliates
- Coordinate legal interactions with Finance and external accountants
- Oversee KYC processes and corporate documentation
- Support the implementation and monitoring of delegation of authority frameworks
- Drafting of intercompany agreements
- Coordinate management of disputes and pre-litigation matters
- Liaise with external counsel where required
- Lead the development and improvement of legal operations, including:
- Contract lifecycle management (CLM)
- Contract template standardization
- Legal documentation management
- Process optimization and performance monitoring
- The Legal Director will directly manage 2 FTEs.
