Based in Preston city centre β free parking. Our client is a small but very reputable IFA practice in Preston that has been established for many years and has an exceptional client base. The offices are lovely, and youβd be working with some really great people. The Directors really look after their staff and reward generously.
The ideal person will need to have worked within the Financial Services industry with experience as a trainee paraplanner or IFA Administrator and have a working and competent knowledge of financial services products such as Investments, ISAs, Pensions and Protection. You will have good communication skills, be organised, happy to take responsibility for your own work and be able to work to deadlines. The ideal person should be part qualified or keen to progress further; there will be study support provided.
Responsibilities as Paraplanner:- Produce professional suitability reports
- Tailoring suitability letters to individual clients
- Responsible for file preparation for meetings and existing business administration
- Provide specific product, provider and fund research
- Assisting administrators during busy periods and working in a team environment
- Submit new business applications, produce quotations, deal with providers and clients, chase outstanding pipeline cases and outstanding fees
- Experience using Intelligent Office and Selectapension would be an advantage
- Ideally possess experience in a support role or trainee paraplanner within financial services
- Exposure to suitability reports would be advantageous
- Good knowledge of financial products β particularly pensions and investments
- Excellent attention to detail
- Well organised and efficient
