Our client is an exceptionally successful law firm with offices across the North West. Offering a superb working environment in beautiful offices, one even has its own champagne bar! This will be a really varied and rewarding role for someone as you will get to do all sorts of different things. Itβs a brand-new role, the business is expanding rapidly and now they really need an individual to provide operations support across a myriad of projects and tasks from sourcing a venue for an event, organising IT system upgrades, to managing office moves and so much more, all whilst working alongside a brilliant bunch of people. They are incredible to work for, offering a flexible, supportive working environment and a fun exciting culture. They treat their staff incredibly well, even taking the team overseas for treats.
Main Duties
- Providing essential operations support to the two Managing Directors β across two businesses
- Managing a variety of projects end to end, which will really vary from IT system upgrades to Events
- Overseeing ad hoc tasks such as office upgrades, sourcing new locations, organising moves where necessary
- Researching suppliers and information for projects and tasks
- Liaising with a myriad of suppliers to build effective relationships, managing costs and service delivery across projects
- Identifying areas for operational improvement to help support the business as it grows, from infrastructure to employee satisfaction
Main Skills and Experience
- Strong background in Operations with some Project Management experience
- Experience of organising company events, functions, offices would be beneficial
- Excellent level of IT literacy with an understanding of CRM systems
- Extremely well organised with a proactive βcan doβ attitude
- Business minded and able to identify areas of improvement to help the business grow smoothly
- Process driven but also able to think outside the box to problem solve
- Possess excellent communication skills to be able to manage suppliers and contractors
- Used to working in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to undertake a myriad of tasks, with a flexible approach to work
