Junior Sales Development Representative

27K – 30K Basic plus bonus scheme, OTE 35-40K

Based Burnley close to motorway and public transport links, free parking

Your role as Sales Development Representative:

  • Growing sales pipeline, handling pre-qualified leads and making cold calls to gather new leads and close sales
  • Seeking out new clients and new sales opportunities
  • Answering client queries and providing relevant information
  • Learning how to prepare sales presentations, proposals and contracts alongside the senior BDM & Marketing
  • Updating all information internal systems
  • Keeping up to date with industry and company trends and developments
  • Attending industry events and conferences, networking and building relationships

Skills and Experience:

  • Ideally possess some basic experience of Sales or customer service or be a graduate that is looking to build a career within Business Development
  • Be comfortable talking to new people and generating new opportunities via cold calling, LinkedIn etc, networking and events
  • High standard of written English and presentation skills
  • Have the maturity and gravitas to deal with and influence senior decision makers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
