Join our team and make it happen! We’re recruiting RoRo - Wagon & Drag Drivers based at our Pollington depot. You’ll complete skip exchanges using our articulated RoRo Hook Loaders, collecting and delivering products across our biomass fuel supply chain. Your role helps us continue supplying nearly 2 million tonnes of fuel each year to Energy Recovery Facilities across the UK.
Hours: Monday to Friday, Days
Note: Trailer gantry weight limit is 140kg (22st).
How we do things:
- Operating RoRo wagon and drag vehicles safely and efficiently
- Collecting and delivering containers in line with schedules
- Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork via mobile apps
- Maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and professionalism
- Efficient communication with Planners & Operations
- Compliance with Drivers’ Hours Regulations & Working Time Directive
- Representing the company with professionalism & vehicle care
- Following company training & safety standards
What we need from you:
- ✔ LGV C+E (Class 1) licence (max 6 penalty points)
- ✔ Good UK road network knowledge
- ✔ Understanding of EU Drivers’ Hours & Working Time Directive
- ✔ Valid DQC & Digital Tachograph Card
- ✔ Previous RoRo Wagon and drag experience (preferred)
