We are looking for a Load Inspector/Yard Operator with processing experience, ideally within the waste industry. FLT/Telehandler experience is preferred, though full training will be provided. This is a physically demanding, hands‑on role involving manual handling, vehicle coordination, and frequent radio and verbal communication. The operator may also be required to support other areas of the processing site when needed. As the first point of contact for drivers and visitors, a professional manner is essential. Safety and environmental awareness are key requirements for this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality control inspections on all inbound materials, ensuring contaminants are identified and removed.
  • Communicate effectively via two‑way radio with weighbridge and processing teams, and provide clear verbal instructions to site drivers.
  • Manage on‑site traffic flow to ensure a safe and efficient operating environment.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to high housekeeping standards.
  • Follow and uphold all environmental procedures and compliance requirements.
