In this role, you’ll play a vital part in processing waste wood, contributing directly to our mission of powering Energy Recovery Facilities across the country. With long-term contracts in place, we supply nearly 2 million tonnes of biomass fuel annually, generating renewable electricity equivalent to the domestic needs of 2% of the UK population.

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 6-2/2-10
Working Hours: 40 per week
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment by promptly reporting all accidents and near misses in accordance with health and safety procedures.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and protocols relating to environmental sustainability and product quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Safely and efficiently operate driving machinery following completion of relevant training and formal authorization.
- Ensure compliance with site traffic management processes to support safe and effective site operations.
- Provide training and support to colleagues, demonstrating competence and knowledge in relevant operational areas.
- Maintain product quality standards to meet customer specifications and expectations.
- Conduct daily machinery inspections to ensure operational readiness and safety.
- Load vehicles accurately and safely, following established procedures.
