Job Ref: 207244DescriptionTechnical Project Manager – Corporate EventsLocation: Hybrid – Keighley, West Yorkshire, and UK-wide event venuesSalary: 45,000–50,000 + overtime and bonusContract: Permanent, full-timeTHE OPPORTUNITYAre you an experienced Technical Project Manager with a passion for live events?We’re looking for a technically minded Project Manager to oversee corporate events from initial client brief and quotation through to planning and on-site delivery.Working across live, virtual and hybrid events, you’ll work directly with event agencies, production companies and end clients to deliver creative, high-quality technical solutions. You’ll manage budgets, equipment, crew and logistics to ensure every event runs smoothly.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Manage projects from initial brief through to delivery, ensuring deadlines, budgets and client expectations are met.• Build relationships with event agencies, production companies and end clients through meetings, site visits and production discussions.• Develop technical proposals covering audio, lighting, video, rigging, staging, power and media.• Prepare quotations, manage budgets and monitor costs.• Produce CAD drawings and support visuals and pitch presentations.• Coordinate equipment, crew, transport and schedules with logistics and warehouse teams.• Manage pre-production, documentation and on-site setup, operation and breakdown.• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.• Identify opportunities to improve technical solutions and processes.ABOUT YOUYou’ll have a genuine passion for live events and proven experience working directly with event agencies and/or production companies, delivering technical solutions for their clients.Essential requirements:• Experience managing corporate event production, including quotations, budgets, planning, crew and on-site delivery.• Direct agency or production company experience, translating client briefs into technical solutions.• Strong technical knowledge of audio, lighting, video, rigging, set and staging.• Experience managing complex projects and multiple events simultaneously.• Understanding of live, virtual and hybrid events, including streamed productions.• CAD experience, ideally Vectorworks.• Strong communication, client relationship and organisational skills.• Commercial awareness, excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.• Proactive, flexible and able to work independently and within a team.• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.LOCATION & HOURSThis hybrid role combines home working, regular attendance at the Keighley head office and travel to client meetings, site visits and venues across the UK. International opportunities may arise. Ideally, you’ll live within approximately two hours of Keighley.Standard hours are 8:30am–5pm, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break.
