Job Role:

  • Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical projects
  • Analyse project requirements, drawings, and specifications
  • Work closely with clients, design engineers, operations, and commercial teams
  • Support the delivery of profitable and compliant bids
  • Ensure estimates align with industry standards and project scopes

Experience & Qualifications

The successful candidate will have substantial experience estimating electrical schemes up to 11kV (experience up to 33kV is advantageous) and ideally possess:

  • Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong knowledge of electrical industry standards, including ENA and G81
  • Understanding of civil industry standards, including NJUG, traffic management, and permits
  • Familiarity with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs/IDNOs) and Independent Connection Providers (ICPs)
  • Knowledge of EV (Electric Vehicle) infrastructure and renewable energy systems
  • Experience using Windebut or ConnectGrid (highly desirable)
