Job Role:
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical projects
- Analyse project requirements, drawings, and specifications
- Work closely with clients, design engineers, operations, and commercial teams
- Support the delivery of profitable and compliant bids
- Ensure estimates align with industry standards and project scopes
Experience & Qualifications
The successful candidate will have substantial experience estimating electrical schemes up to 11kV (experience up to 33kV is advantageous) and ideally possess:
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical industry standards, including ENA and G81
- Understanding of civil industry standards, including NJUG, traffic management, and permits
- Familiarity with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs/IDNOs) and Independent Connection Providers (ICPs)
- Knowledge of EV (Electric Vehicle) infrastructure and renewable energy systems
- Experience using Windebut or ConnectGrid (highly desirable)
