Overview
In this role you will service, maintain, and diagnose breakdowns of refrigeration systems across Aldi and Lidl stores in Surrey and London. You’ll work as part of a field-based team keeping cold rooms, pack systems and freezers in peak condition. Your work helps keep store operations running smoothly and supports efficient, compliant refrigeration performance. This is a hands-on role with a clear impact on store reliability and energy management, offering a route to specialist skills in supermarket environments.

Responsibilities
- service and maintain refrigeration systems in supermarket environments
- respond to breakdowns and perform on-site fault finding
- travel within Surrey and to London as needed
- manage cold rooms, pack systems and chest freezers maintenance
- work in a retail/store operations context
- liaise with stores for preventative maintenance planning
Key requirements
- strong background as a Refrigeration Engineer
- Full UK driving licence
- City and Guilds/NVQ level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration
- CO2 and R290 certificates would be a bonus
- based in the Surrey area and willing to travel to London
- Fgas2079 (cat1)
