This is a senior leadership opportunity suited to an ambitious individual with a strong background in either timber packaging or corrugated packaging, looking to take ownership of 4 sales professionals and will look to nurture, develop and motivate each individual to hit target. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing key customer relationships in the future once the sales team is on track, in addition to driving new business activity, and leading an internal sales function across both locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead commercial operations across two UK sites
- Manage, develop, and motivate a team of 4
- Develop existing customer accounts and identify new business opportunities
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure customer expectations are exceeded
- Support strategic growth plans across the business
- Monitor sales performance and commercial KPIs
Requirements:
- Proven experience within the packaging industry
- Strong knowledge of either timber packaging or corrugated packaging
