My client, an established employee-owned BMS specialist, is looking to recruit an experienced BMS Project Engineer with strong Schneider Eco Struxure Building Operation (EBO) experience.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business offering a clear progression path into Project Management, with ongoing training and long-term career development.
The Role
You will play a key role in the delivery of Schneider BMS projects from initial software design through to commissioning and handover.
Working closely with senior project managers and engineering teams, you will be responsible for developing control strategies, creating graphics, commissioning systems and ensuring projects are delivered to a high technical standard.
This role would suit a project-focused engineer who is looking to move into project management over the coming years.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Schneider Eco Struxure Building Operation (EBO) software.
- Produce high-quality EBO graphics and user interfaces.
- Develop BMS control strategies from initial design through to implementation.
- Download and commission software onto Schneider controllers.
- Carry out site commissioning, functional testing and fault finding.
- Work alongside electrical and mechanical contractors during project delivery.
- Produce commissioning documentation and project reports.
- Support project planning, programming and customer handovers.
- Assist Project Managers with the successful delivery of multiple projects.
- Progress into a Project Management role as experience develops.
Requirements
- 3-4 years' experience working with Schneider Eco Struxure Building Operation (EBO).
- Strong experience writing Schneider BMS software.
- Experience creating graphics within EBO.
- Able to take projects from software design through to controller implementation.
- Previous experience delivering BMS projects (rather than purely service or maintenance).
- Schneider commissioning experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Good understanding of HVAC plant and Building Management Systems.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
