Our client, a well-established and growing Building Management Systems specialist, is currently looking to recruit an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to support projects across London and East Anglia. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable business delivering high-quality BMS solutions across a range of commercial and industrial environments.
The successful candidate will play a key role in commissioning, testing, fault finding, and optimising BMS systems while working closely with project teams and end clients.
Key Responsibilities- Commissioning BMS systems across commercial and industrial projects
- Carrying out point-to-point checks and functional testing
- Diagnosing and resolving system faults
- Reading and interpreting control schematics and descriptions
- Supporting software and controls integration
- Completing commissioning documentation and reports
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and project teams
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely and on schedule
- Previous experience working as a BMS Commissioning Engineer
- Strong knowledge of Trend, Tridium/Niagara, Siemens, Schneider, or similar systems
- Good understanding of HVAC and building services
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read electrical and controls drawings
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
- Experience with BACnet, Modbus, or other integration protocols
- Experience working within critical environments or large commercial projects
- CSCS/ECS card
- Energy optimisation experience
