In this Regional Technical Manager role, you lead Applications Engineering and Technical Sales across the Northern region, aligning technical leadership with customer success. You will guide machining solutions, tool trials, and productivity improvements in CNC milling, turning, and multi-axis applications. Collaborating with sales, engineering, and suppliers, you shape tooling and turnkey solutions while growing key customer relationships. Responsibilities
- Lead and develop Applications & Technical Sales teams
- Support customers across CNC milling, turning, 3/4/5-axis and turn-mill applications
- Drive cutting tool trials, process optimisation and productivity improvements
- Develop key customer relationships and new business opportunities
- Work with cutting tools, work holding, tool management and turnkey solutions
- Work closely with sales, engineering, suppliers and key customer stakeholders
- Recruit, coach and develop the technical team
Key requirements
- CNC / metal cutting / manufacturing background
- Technical sales, applications or engineering management experience
- Experience with tool trials, machining solutions and engineering projects
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining and cutting tools: milling, turning, drilling, threading and tooling systems
