We are currently recruiting for an experienced
Fire Alarm Installation Engineer to join a well-established and growing fire and security company.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a professional team delivering high-quality fire alarm installations across commercial, industrial and public sector sites.
The Role
As a Fire Alarm Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for installing fire alarm systems to a high standard, ensuring all work complies with current industry regulations and customer specifications.
Responsibilities
- Installation of conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
- Installation of associated fire safety equipment including call points, detectors, sounders and interfaces.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and installation plans.
- Ensuring all work complies with BS5839 and relevant fire safety standards.
- Completing commissioning paperwork and installation documentation.
- Liaising with clients, site managers and project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience installing fire alarm systems including Gent and Advanced
- Good knowledge of conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
- Understanding of BS5839 standards.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- ECS/CSCS card preferred.
- IPAF and PASMA certificates would be advantageous but are not essential.
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
