We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join a busy building services team based on a very large site in London. This person will be working alongside experienced engineers that are dealing with air conditioning, heating and electrical maintenance as well as some installations.
This position will involve a lot of traveling around this large site on foot, sorting out materials and parts for the other engineers, as well as a hands-on approach to supporting them, including making sure that health and safety is adhered to.
We would like this person to have some on-site maintenance experience, preferably on a commercial site. It would be a bonus if this person has done a maintenance college course, but it is not essential.
Requirements:- Some experience dealing with planned or reactive maintenance
- Passionate about learning new things within maintenance
- A City and Guilds or NVQ maintenance qualification would be a bonus
- Some experience with air conditioning would be a major advantage
- Must be able to move around a large site on foot
- Ability to lift heavy equipment to health and safety standards
- Basic salary subject to experience level
- Hours: 8am until 5pm
- 21 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Pension
- Some overtime will be available
