Overview
In this role you install, service, maintain and repair escalators, travelators and moving walkways at client sites. You diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, perform repairs, and conduct safety checks to meet industry standards. You provide on-site customer support and clear updates, upholding high workmanship and safety. You may participate in an on-call rota with occasional travel or overnight stays, contributing to reliable, disruption-free operations for clients.
Pay / Benefits
- 40,000 - 50,000 basic

Responsibilities
- Install, service, maintain and repair escalators, travelators and moving walkways
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and identify issues
- Carry out repairs and replace components as needed
- Conduct safety checks ensuring compliance with standards
- Troubleshoot faults efficiently and effectively
- Provide on-site customer support and communicate with clients
- Maintain high workmanship and safety standards
- Work on client sites across the region
- Participate in an on-call rota including weekends/bank holidays
Key requirements
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Previous experience in escalator maintenance, servicing or engineering preferred
- Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting technical faults
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Professional communication with customers
- Willingness to work on-site at different locations
- Relevant escalator engineering certifications or experience advantageous
