This Lead Engineer will be technical in either Electrical or Mechanical building services maintenance, with a hands on attitude. They will also have the responsibility of dealing with: Tool boxtalks with the clientPlanning the on siteengineers and materials Sign off Risk AssessmentsDealing with all Method StatementsManaging the sub contractorsTechnical support to the client and engineersInternal Audits of the sub contractorsand on siteengineersAttend client meetings to provide technical support to the managersThe right person for this position will already have a strong building services maintenance background and already has experience as a supervising engineer. They need to have a very strong knowledge of health and safety regulations. We need this engineer to be either a qualified electrician preferably with test and inspect or a mechanical engineer with an NVQ mechanical qualification (not plumbing)This is an on site position, however we would prefer this person to have a full UK driving licence to travel around the site.
