Overview
In this role you will service, maintain and repair refrigeration systems for Aldi and Lidl stores in Essex and London, focusing on cooling equipment like cold rooms, pack systems and chest freezers. You’ll work as part of a field team supporting retail environments and travel across the region to ensure reliable store refrigeration. Training is provided for CO2 and R290 competencies, enhancing your impact across multiple sites.

Responsibilities
- Service, maintenance and breakdown repair of refrigeration systems in Aldi/Lidl stores
- Work with cold rooms, pack systems and chest freezers
- Travel across Essex and occasional London sites to support stores
- Operate in supermarket/retail environments
- Maintain safety and compliance on-site
Key requirements
- Strong working background as Refrigeration Engineer
- Full UK driving licence
- City and Guilds/NVQ level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration
- CO2 and R290 certificates would be a bonus
- Based in the Essex area
- Happy to travel into London when needed
- Experience in supermarket or retail environments
