Overview
In this role you will install, service, maintain and repair escalators and moving walkways across client sites. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, perform repairs and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. The role combines on-site engineering with customer-facing duties and occasional travel. You will be part of a team delivering reliable, disruption-free solutions and will operate under a schedule that includes on-call duties. This is a hands-on opportunity to apply your technical expertise to real-world client needs and maintain operational continuity.

- salary 40,000 - 50,000 basic

Responsibilities
- Install, service, maintain and repair escalators, travelators and moving walkways
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and identify technical issues
- Perform repairs and replace components as required
- Conduct safety checks ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Troubleshoot faults efficiently
- Provide on-site customer support and clear client communication
- Maintain high workmanship and safety standards
- Work at client sites across the region and participate in on-call rota
- Travel and possible overnight stays as needed
Key requirements
- Strong mechanical and electrical understanding
- Minimum NVQ Level 3
- Experience in escalator maintenance, servicing or engineering
- Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting faults
- Full UK driving licence
- Independent and collaborative工作能力

- Willingness to work on-site at various client locations
- Relevant escalator engineering certifications or experience advantageous
