The Company
I’m currently recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing, award-winning Fire & Security business with over 16 years’ experience across Fire & Security and Telecommunications. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality service across commercial environments, the business is continuing to expand and is looking to add an experienced Service Engineer to its growing team.
The Role
As a Fire & Security Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and fault‑finding on a range of fire and security systems across commercial client sites throughout North and North East London. This is a field‑based role suited to engineers who are confident working independently, enjoy problem solving, and are looking to develop long‑term within a supportive and forward‑thinking company.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Reactive service and fault‑finding
- Working across fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms & access control systems
- Ensuring systems remain compliant and fully operational
- Delivering a high level of customer service on site
Experience Required
- Previous experience servicing Fire & Security systems
- Strong fault‑finding and maintenance ability
- Experience with systems such as Honeywell, Texecom, Paxton, Hikvision or similar
- Good communication and customer‑facing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Full UK driving licence
