The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Cooling Tower Engineer to join a specialist organisation operating across the water treatment, cooling water and water hygiene sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with hands-on experience working with cooling towers and evaporative cooling systems who is looking for a long-term career with a well-established and growing business.
The Role
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and inspections of cooling towers and associated systems
- Undertaking cleaning, disinfection and remedial works
- Supporting cooling tower water treatment programmes
- Carrying out sampling and basic water quality checks
- Identifying issues and recommending appropriate remedial actions
- Ensuring works are completed in accordance with relevant legislation, industry guidance and company procedures
- Completing accurate service reports and technical documentation
- Liaising professionally with customers and providing technical advice where required
- Supporting planned and reactive maintenance activities
You should ideally have:
- Previous hands-on experience working with cooling towers or evaporative cooling systems
- Knowledge of cooling water systems and associated risks
- A strong understanding of health & safety requirements
- A full UK driving licence
