Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 basic salary + uncapped commission (DOE)

Are you ambitious, commercially minded and looking to build a long-term career in technology sales?

We're looking for a driven Business Development Executive to join a fast-growing technology solutions provider in London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants more than a typical sales development role and is eager to progress into a future Business Development Manager or Account Executive position.

You'll gain exposure to the full B2B sales cycle, work with experienced sales professionals and develop your expertise across a range of technology solutions including Managed IT Services, Cyber Security, Cloud Solutions, Unified Communications and Digital Transformation services.

The Role

As a Business Development Executive, you'll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, engaging with prospective clients and building relationships with senior decision-makers. You'll play a key role in generating qualified opportunities while learning how successful technology sales teams develop and convert long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage prospective customers across multiple industries.
  • Research target organisations and key decision makers.
  • Generate qualified opportunities for the wider sales team.
  • Build multi-channel outreach campaigns using phone, email and LinkedIn.
  • Develop relationships with directors, business owners and C-level stakeholders.
  • Understand customer challenges and identify opportunities to add value.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline information.
  • Work closely with both sales and marketing teams.
  • Continuously improve prospecting strategies and contribute new ideas.

About You

We're interested in attitude, ambition and potential just as much as experience.

You will ideally be:

  • Naturally curious and eager to learn.
  • Confident communicating with senior professionals.
  • Commercially aware and highly organised.
  • Self-motivated, resilient and accountable.
  • Ambitious, competitive and driven by career progression.
  • Comfortable using technology and modern sales tools.
  • Able to work independently and use your own initiative.

Desirable Experience:

  • Previous experience in sales, recruitment, business development or customer-facing roles.
  • Experience working towards targets or KPIs.
  • Interest in technology and the wider business landscape.
  • Experience using LinkedIn professionally.

What's on Offer?

  • £30,000 - £35,000 basic salary depending on experience.
  • Uncapped commission structure.
  • Clear progression into senior sales and customer-facing roles.
  • Ongoing training, mentoring and professional development.
  • Exposure to experienced sales leaders.
  • Modern sales technology and AI tools.
  • Genuine long-term career opportunities within the technology sector.

If you're looking for a career rather than just another job and want to develop into a successful technology sales professional, we'd love to hear from you.
