They are now looking for an experienced and technically capable Escalator Engineer to join our growing team.40,000
- 50,000 basic, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, Pension, Over time available. Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pmFriday – 8am – 4pmMidlands The RoleAs an Escalator Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing and repair of escalators, travelators and moving walkways at client sites.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Installing, servicing, maintaining and repairing escalators, travelators and moving walkwaysDiagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and identifying technical issuesCarrying out repairs and replacing components where requiredConducting safety checks and ensuring equipment meets relevant industry standards and regulationsTroubleshooting faults efficiently and effectivelyProviding professional on-site customer supportCommunicating clearly with clients and providing updates on work being undertakenMaintaining high standards of workmanship and safetyWorking on client sites across the regionParticipating in an on-call rota covering weekends and bank holidaysSome travel and overnight stays may be required depending on project and client requirements. xohmjla About YouI am looking for an engineer with a strong mechanical and electrical understanding and the ability to work independently at client locations.

Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualificationKnowledge of mechanical and electrical systemsPrevious experience in escalator maintenance, servicing or engineering is highly desirableExperience diagnosing and troubleshooting technical faultsA full UK driving licenceStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamA professional approach when dealing with customers and clientsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA willingness to work on-site at different client locationsRelevant escalator engineering certifications or experience would be advantageousIf you are an experienced engineer with mechanical and electrical knowledge and are looking for your next opportunity within the escalator industry, I would be pleased to hear from you."ser-in"
