My client is an industry leader in the Fluid Power sector, established over 40 years, and one of the largest distributors of fluid power products in the UK, supplying various industries. Due to an exciting period of growth they are now looking for an Assembly Operative to join their engineering team.
Location: Gloucester
Working hours: Monday to Friday
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Benefits: 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, pension, life insurance, and career development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble hydraulic and industrial hose kits to specification
- Cut hose to required lengths using appropriate equipment
- Fit and secure couplings, fittings, and connectors
- Carry out pressure testing and quality checks where required
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch
- Maintain accurate records of assembled items and stock usage
- Ensure all work is completed to company quality and safety standards
- Keep the work area clean, organised, and safe
- Assist with general depot duties when required
