We are seeking a motivated and experienced Pre-Commissioning / Water Treatment Engineer to join our growing team operating across the Northeast of England. This role focuses on the delivery of water treatment solutions for closed systems and Legionella control within commercial hot and cold-water systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for pre-commission cleaning, chemical dosing, system monitoring, flushing, disinfection, and ongoing maintenance of heating and chilled water systems to ensure optimum efficiency, compliance, and system performance. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with experience in water hygiene, closed-system treatment, and commissioning works who is looking to develop their career within a professional and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out on-site water sampling, testing, and analysis of closed-loop systems
- Apply and maintain chemical treatments including inhibitors, dispersants, and biocides
- Service and refill dosing pots, dosing units, and automated dosing pumps
- Perform pre-commission cleaning, remedial flushing, chemical cleaning, and disinfection works in accordance with industry standards
