The Opportunity:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a well-established engineering business delivering complex mechanical and bulk material handling projects across multiple industrial sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys a varied role involving assembly, maintenance, installation and fault finding within a fast-paced engineering environment. The successful candidate will join an experienced team and play a key role in supporting workshop operations as well as site-based activities across the UK and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and build mechanical equipment using both manufactured and proprietary components
  • Carry out mechanical maintenance, repairs and fault-finding activities
  • Support installation and commissioning work on customer sites
  • Read and interpret engineering and mechanical drawings
  • Conduct inspections and measurements to ensure compliance with specifications
