About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join a growing specialist engineering business delivering high-quality residential and commercial swimming pool and spa projects throughout the UK. The successful candidate will play a key role in the commissioning, testing, optimisation and handover of swimming pool and spa systems, ensuring all plant and equipment operate efficiently and meet project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Commissioning and testing swimming pool and spa plant systems.
- Setting up, optimising and validating filtration, circulation, heating and chemical dosing systems.
- Diagnosing and resolving commissioning and operational issues.
- Carrying out system performance testing, fault-finding and troubleshooting.
- Completing commissioning documentation, reports and handover records.
- Running up, testing, commissioning and handing over completed projects to clients.
- Delivering client training and operational guidance where required.
- Liaising with project managers, installation teams, contractors and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a commissioning, service, maintenance or installation role within the swimming pool industry or a related mechanical and electrical engineering sector.
- Experience commissioning mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strong understanding of pool plant operation, including filtration, circulation, heating and chemical dosing systems.
- Ideally based within Warwickshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire or Berkshire.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
- Knowledge of automatic pool covers, control systems and electrical installations would be advantageous.
- Full UK driving licence.
