The Opportunity

My client is seeking an experienced BMS Service & Small Works Engineer to join their team, supporting a prestigious semi-static site in London. This role will be heavily focused on the maintenance, optimisation, fault finding and small works delivery on Automated Logic Controls (ALC) systems, making previous ALC experience an essential requirement. This is an excellent opportunity for a BMS Engineer who enjoys building strong client relationships while taking ownership of a key site, with occasional travel to other London locations as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive service visits on BMS systems.

  • Provide technical support and advice to site stakeholders and end users.
  • Produce detailed service reports and associated documentation.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Act as the primary BMS engineering contact on the static site.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in a BMS Service Engineer or BMS Maintenance Engineer position.
  • Strong hands-on experience working with Automated Logic Controls (ALC) systems – this is essential.
  • Demonstrable experience carrying out fault finding, diagnostics and repairs on ALC BMS systems independently.
  • Experience delivering BMS small works projects, upgrades and modifications.
  • Good understanding of HVAC plant, controls strategies and building services.
  • Strong customer-facing and communication skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable

  • Experience supporting commissioning activities.
  • Knowledge of energy optimisation and system performance improvements.
