A workshop / office based position focused on pre-commissioning Microsoft Teams Room systems, AV & IT devices in preparation for installation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To attend reactive service calls to diagnose and resolve issues with AV systems.
  • Provisioning and configuring Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR), Zoom Rooms, and UC collaboration systems.
  • Configuring AV peripherals including cameras, microphones, soundbars, displays, and room controllers.
  • Applying network configurations including IP addressing, firmware updates, and device naming.
  • Testing systems to ensure reliable audio, video, and network performance.
  • Producing and maintaining accurate technical documentation including IP/MAC records and configuration notes.
  • Supporting installation, programming, commissioning, and project teams throughout project delivery.
  • Assisting with customer queries relating to system setup and operation when required.

Qualities and Skills Required:

  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Strong technical understanding of AV / IT systems – particularly MTR solutions.
  • Network configuration experience – NETGEAR or similar.
  • A background in AV service support or commissioning would be highly beneficial.
